Member Center: Allied Staff

Dear Allied Dental Staff:

Any allied dental staff member in South Dakota may become a member of the South Dakota Dental Association.

Any dental hygienist or advanced dental assistant licensed in South Dakota or any dental assistant or dental office employee who is employed in a dental office in South Dakota is eligible to become an Allied Member of the SDDA

Membership in the SDDA provides allied staff with a number of member benefits, including:

  • Reduced registration fees for all continuing education courses offered by the SDDA, including annual session.
  • A statewide network of dental professionals who share common goals and concerns.
  • A subscription to Allied Staff News, a newsletter for allied staff in South Dakota.
  • Reduced fees for listings on the Placement Service (on-line employment listings).
  • Free use of prevention and education resources and materials from the SDDA.
  • Reduced Disability Insurance rates for purchase by members.

SDDA News

Annual Session  

 

The pre-registration deadline for the SDDA Annual Session is Friday, May 8, 2015. Annual Session will be held May 14-16, 2015 in Sioux Falls. Hotel rooms are going fast.  In addition to the headquarters hotel (Sheraton) there are rooms available at the Ramada Inn. Phone numbers for reservations are: the Sheraton - 605-331-0100; the Ramada - 605-336-1020. Ask for the SDDA rate.

All SDDA members are encouraged to attend the SDDA House of Delegates meetings on Thursday, May 14 at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 16 at 3:30 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Attendees on Thursday will hear from Dr. Maxine Feinberg, President of the American Dental Association.
